Betty Boyd

Mrs. Betty Ree Boyd was born June 26, 1951, in Winnsboro, SC. She departed her life on October 16, 2021.  Betty Ree was educated in the public school in Fairfield County, was a member of Mt. Zion AME Church at a young age. Betty Ree enjoyed laughing, fishing cooking and spending time with family and friends.  Betty Ree was preceded in death by: her parents James and Annie Mae McDaniel; her sons, Jimmy and Christopher Boyd; her husband, Jimmy Lewis Byrd; her sisters, Susie Mae Gibbs, Virginia Bell; her brother James Boykins of Baltimore, Maryland; and her great-grandson Frank Brown, Jr. Betty Ree leaves to cherish loving memories to her children, Isabell McDaniel, Felicia (Kevin) Durham, Beverly (Bristol) Sloss, Marlena (Roy) Pearson, Tavaris (Sharon) Boyd, Michael Boyd, Tiffany Boyd, all of Winnsboro, South Carolina; one goddaughter, Jacquana Woodard; two sisters in law, Miss Mildred Pearson and Loretta Boyd, all of Winnsboro, SC; twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, a special friend Glenn Burrell and a host of loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
