Cheryl Yvonne Pickett was born to the late Joshua and Emma Jane
Glover in Baltimore, Maryland on February 25, 1951. She gained
her wings on April 23, 2023. She attended Baltimore Public Schools
and she graduated from Levendall LPN nursing school and worked
as a private duty nurse Cheryl later married the love of her life and
respected veteran the late Samuel Pickett Jr. After their wedding,
she moved to Winnsboro, South Carolina, where she spent over 30
years.
While staying in South Carolina she became the well-known woman
she is today. Aunt Cheryl, which she was affectionately called by
everyone, ran a successful flea market business that was inspired by
her love for fashion and shopping.
She leaves to mourn her sister, Gail Middleton (David) and dear
goddaughter Robbie Jane Sampson her six sisters preceding her in
death. Jacqueline Fitzgerald, Deliah Bullock, Mae Carolyn Reed,
Ella Pearl Glover, Laverne Jones, and nieces and nephews Dorene
Caldwell, the late Lynntee Gooden, Renee Sampson, Kevin Bullock,
Eric Thompson, Willie Green, James Mullen, Renta Jones, Ronald
Jones, Candace Hill, and Tavon Green. She also has a host of great
nieces and nephews and beloved cousins that she loved dearly.
