Christopher Smalls, Jr. was born in Winnsboro on August 5, 1963, to the late Carrie Glover Smalls, Sr. He transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Chris, also known by many as "Da Bay", was educated in the public school district of Fairfield County. Chris was a jack of many trades, but his love was painting. He became a member of Weeping Mary Baptist Church at an early age.
Chris was a loveable and kind person who always had room in his heart for forgiveness. He was one that always kept the family entertained. He always shared with the family and friends his famous quote, "We all we got!" and he professed his love in his quote, " I love all the people of the world!" His all-time favorite hobby was fishing and returning home to prep his catch.
Chris leaves to cherish his memories his son Patrick Green of Columbia; sisters, Rev. Lenora (James) Stroman, Melissa Smalls and Cassandra Smalls (Jonathan Harvey) and sister in law Sherry Small, all of Winnsboro and Annie White of Texas: brothers, Bobby Smalls, Fredrick Small and Lamonte Smalls, all of Winnsboro; a grandson, Naser Green, brother in law James Johnson; aunts, Izetta Henry of Charleston, Lugenia Duncan of Connecticut and his second mother/ aunt Hattie Burns of the home; uncles Ronnie Gene Glover of Winnsboro, James "Bud" Small of Winnsboro, and Howard (Dorothy) Small of Connecticut. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish his memories.
In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his sisters Kimberly Johnson, Samantha Small and brothers Johnny Small and Frankie Lee.
