Ms. Eloise Owen Middleton was born on January 24, 1942, in Winnsboro, SC to the late Abraham Sr. and Ella Cloud Owens. Eloise entered eternal rest at her home on October 16, 2021. She retired in 2010 after working for over 45 years as a domestic worker. She was a faithful member of St. Mathews First Baptist Church where she served as a member of the choir, missionary and kitchen committees. Eloise was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who never met a stranger. She lived her life to the fullest serving the Lord whom she loved with all her heart. Eloise leaves to cherish fond memories her three daughters: Terry Milton, Marie Praileau, and Kimmetta Tidwell; eight grandchildren, Marchetta Middleton, Denika Brown, Tyren White, TyQuarius Middleton, JayShawn Middleton, Tiauna Turner, Kaniyah Turner, and Janasha Gibson; three great-grandchildren, Noah Isaac, Nolan Brown, and Brandon Boatwright Jr.; five sisters, Vernell (Larry) Gadson, Ethel Cook, Eva (Levelle) Ashford, Thelma Sloss and Deborah Owens Dixon; four brothers, Ernest (Diann) Owens, Elmore Owens, Odelle Owens and Alvin Owens; two special aunts, Ineeda Pickett and Lodesta Parnell; four special daughters, Tiffany Boyd, Rosie (Minister Anthony) Ervin, Reverend Lenora (Deacon James) Stroman and Tonya (Bobby) Smallwood; two very dear friends; Deaconess Laura (Deacon Moses) McGraw and Tena Anderson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and a very special dog named Brayzi.
