On Monday, December 20, 2021, he peacefully departed this earthly life as he was called to be with his Lord and Savior in his heavenly home. Freddie Pearson Sr. was born January 2, 1942, in Winnsboro, South Carolina to the late Melvin Pearson Sr. and Evelyn C. Pearson. He was educated in the Fairfield School System. He was a self-employed welder (Freddie’s Welding Co.) He loved his family and grandkids, but the granddaughters were the apple of his eye. He was a member of New Hope AME Church in Winnsboro, South Carolina at a young age, later he went to Rockwell AME Church in Charlotte, North Carolina and he attended House of Israel in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Freddie leaves to cherish his precious memories: his wife, Diane Jackson Pearson, four sons: Isaac Johnson Jr. (Irene) of Winnsboro, South Carolina, Freddie Pearson Jr.; (Arteyia), Damion Pearson (Shavonnda), Corey
Pearson of Charlotte, NC; three brothers, Robert L. Pearson, Melvin Pearson, Jr. (Bianca) and Roger Ray Pearson (Cheryl) of Winnsboro, SC; three sisters: Ella Dorsey, Willi Evans and Geraldine Butler of Winnsboro,
SC: three aunts, one uncle: 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Freddie was preceded in death by his father Melvin Pearson Sr. mother Evelyn C. Pearson and stepson Greg Jackson.
