James O’Neil Cohen was born on February 7, 1974, in Winnsboro, SC to Dorothy Cohen and Willie Cohen Sr. He departed his earthly life on August 19, 2022.
He attended Fairfield Central High School in Winnsboro, SC and graduated with the class of 1992. He was a dedicated hard worker. He was employed at Michelin Tires as of late and was a former employee of Martin Marietta-North Columbia Quarry and Richtex Bricks. His hobbies were working on cars, fishing, riding his motorcycle, turning other people children upside down for fun, and was a die-hard Los Angeles Rams Fan.
Those left to cherish his beautiful memories are his loving wife, Yolanda Cohen, of Blythewood, SC; his two daughters, Quiana Cohen and Ty Cohen (Fiancé Nicholas Raley); his two grandsons, Nelson Vance Lizardi and Weston O’Neil Raley; his loving mother, Dorothy Cohen, and father, Willie Cohen Sr., all of Winnsboro, SC; three brothers Willie (Diane) Cohen Jr. of Baltimore Maryland, Reginald (Khadiah) Cohen of Dallas Georgia, and Maurice Cohen of Winnsboro, SC and one sister Valencia Cohen of Columbia, SC. Two sisters-in-law, Tedra (Terance) Pearson and Katrina Ashford, both of Blythewood, SC; one brother-in-law of Columbia, SC; and father-in-law, Odelle Owens, of Winnsboro, SC. A host of loving aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, his Michelin Tires work family, and too many special friends to name, all of whom loved him dearly.
Preceded in death by a special, cousin/brother, Robert Truman Kennedy, brother/cousins Joseph Davis and Travis Jackson, and mother-in-law, Margie Ashford Owens.
