James McCullough

James Anthony McCullough Sr. was the first child born to the late Robert McCullough and Kathleen Armstrong on November 20, 1954. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 and was reunited in death to his parents and two sisters, Evelyn Snowden and Cathy Edwards.

 

James received Christ at an early age through schooling at St. Michael's Grade School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and later at Shady Grove Independent Church where he was baptized on November 19, 2017, and remained an active member until his health prevented him from participating. 

 

Receiving his General Education Diploma from Job Corps in Wisconsin and with the technical skills he'd acquired, James became a Master Painter for the City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee Public Schools. There was not an opportunity that would escape without him showing off his work around the city. He was also an owner of a successful computer business for many years in Milwaukee. 

 

In his leisure time, James enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, playing chess and spending time with his family. One of James's greatest values was his family and familial relationships. He could often be heard saying that when the end of life came, he'd go home to South Carolina to be buried next to his grandfather.

 

James leaves to cherish his memory to his wife, Arlene; brothers, Robert and Michael; sister, Phyllis (Charles); uncles, John "Skates" Robinson (South Carolina) and Gust Livingston (Wisconsin); children, Laurie  (Sean); Tracey; Tannia  (Tobias); James  Jr.; Tianna (Lyndon); Marquitta; and bonus children, Tiffaney; Katrina and Monique. 23 grandchildren, nephews, nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
