Mark Bell

Mr. Mark Arnold Bell was born on August 15, 1950, in Fairfield County.  He was the son of the late David Bell, Sr. and the late Carrie Turner Bell.

Mark was educated in the public schools of Fairfield County and graduated from McCrorey Liston High School, Class of 1969.

Mark’s early life work began hauling pulpwood, and he later worked for SCE and G and Mack Trucking.  He loved to fish and enjoyed life to the fullest.  He was a member of White Hall AME Church in Jenkinsville, SC.  

He was preceded in death by his brothers, David Bell Jr.  and Jessie Bell, a sister, Juanita Bell White and a brother-in-law, Ernest Gadson.  Mark leaves to mourn his passing: daughters Marsheila (Michael) Ford, Marlene Rikard, of Jenkinsville, SC; Marnita(Terrence Moore) Bell of Winnsboro, SC and Demitra (Dave) Peoples of Jenkinsville, SC; sons, Martenis (Jessica) Bell of Surprise, AZ, Marlin (Hope) Hill of Columbia, SC, Marcus Bell of Japan, Tony Livingston, of Greensboro, NC, Wayne (Suzanne) Hill of Columbia, SC and Andrew Bagley of Winnsboro, SC; one sister Catherine Gadson, of Winnsboro, SC and one brother, Thomas (Janie Hill) Bell of Winnsboro, SC and one sister-in-law Hattie Bell of Jenkinsville, SC; twenty three grandchildren,  one great grandson, a special friend Julie Reynolds and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
