Mary Louise (Henry) Turner

John 11:25-26 - Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.
 

Mrs. Mary Louise Henry Turner departed this life, peacefully, on December 28, 2022, at MUSC Health Medical University of South Carolina. She was born March 17, 1932, in Winnsboro, SC.  Mrs. Turner graduated from Fairfield High School and retired from the Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Deacon Charles Spencer Turner, Sr., Son, Gregory Sanford Turner, and Parents, Mr. Eddie and Mrs. Hattie-Irby Henry. She leaves to cherish her memory eight loving children, Hattie (Porter) Able of Ridgeway, SC, Charles Spencer (Barbara) Turner of Winnsboro, SC, Mary (Oday) Mickel of Jacksonville, Florida, Patsy (Dr. William Dewayne) Lyles of Nashville, Tennessee, James Eugene (Cynthia) Turner of Columbia, SC,  Bruce Eddie Turner of Blair, SC, Allison Andrew Turner of Ridgeway, SC,  Irene (Lynn) Cornelius of Jacksonville, Florida, Brother Joseph E. Henry, Winnsboro, SC, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren along with many relatives and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.

An active member of Blackjack Baptist Church, Mrs. Turner served as a Deaconess and Mother of the Church. Her faith, love and kindness spread to everyone she met. Mrs. Turner loved family, church family, and friends.  She enjoyed traveling abroad with family, sitting on her porch looking at her beautiful flowers, and celebrating all the joys of life.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 4th, 2023, 11:00a.m., at the Black Jack Baptist church. 178 Reservoir Road, Winnsboro, South Carolina. 

Interment will follow in the Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ cemetery. 4650 Reservoir Road

A public viewing will be held Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023, 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
