Jennie Sharpe Hendrix of Gaston, SC. Went home to Jesus on February 2,2021 at the age of 69. Jennie was born on August 12, 1951 in Lexington, SC to Clinton and Virginia Helms Sharpe. As a child, Jennie loved the adventurous times spent outside with her brothers and sisters in Gaston, SC. She was predeceased by her mother and father, her sister Esther (Bobby) Neese, and her three brothers; Larry (Martha) Sharpe, Ronny (Corina) Sharpe, and Jerry Sharpe. She is survived by her husband David Hendrix Sr, her daughter, Belinda (Leon) Mims, her four sons; Billy Joe (Jonie) Poole, David (Heather) Hendrix Jr, Jackey (Tiffany) Hendrix, Eddie Hendrix, her brother, Stanley (Gail) Sharpe, her four sisters, Becky (Doug) Coggins, Connie (Donnie) Skipper, Sandra (Mike) Braswell, Marie (Eddie) Sharpe, her twelve grandchildren; Tesha, Diamond (Chris), Bill Ray (Summer), Leandra, Peyton, Paisley, Landon, Lincoln, Lillianna, Avery, Addie, Justin, and her five great grandchildren; Hunter, Tyler, McKenzie, Chloe, and Braylon. Jennie devoted her life to her children and loved all of her grandchildren more than life itself. Her infectious passion of kindness could be felt by everyone who entered her presence.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 2:00p.m. and funeral services at 4:00p.m. at Fish Hatchery Road Church of God, 3249 Fish Hatchery Road Gaston, SC 29053. Burial to follow directly after funeral. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fish Hatchery Road Church of God. Professional Services entrusted to the Palmetto Funeral Services of the Midlands, LLC of Winnsboro, SC.
