Nathan Harris was born on December 29, 1929, in Winnsboro, South Carolina. He was the beloved son of the late Willie Harris and Mrs. Ella Harris. Nathan passed on to get his glorious reward while at home in Winnsboro, South Carolina.
Nathan lived in New York most of his adult life. After living in New York for so long, Nathan decided to move back to his home here in Winnsboro, South Carolina where later he passed on to walk the roads of heaven.
Nathan was a good man. He loved to talk trash and enjoyed sitting with his granddaughter Nikki (Keisha) in her yard. Nathan loved his family and he will truly be missed.
Nathan will be missed and his memories will be cherished by his two living children, Eric (Stacy) Harris of Pittsburgh, PA and Martha (Von) Sampson Gibbs of Winnsboro, SC; a sister, Willie Mae Perry of Poughkeepsie, New York; seventeen grandchildren, Gregory Sampson, Corey (Melissa) Sampson, Lavarcus (Candice) Haire, all of Winnsboro: DeTavares(Shenakke) Sampson of North Carolina: Detrick (Eboni) Sampson of Boston, MA: Nikki Sampson, Neoshia Sampson of Winnsboro, SC: Tocoia (Demarcus) Mendenhall and LaCrisha Sampson of Blythewood, SC: Ronnie Jr., Yolanda, Renee, Reggie, and Ronald Harris all of Baltimore, MD; seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law Wanda Harris of Baltimore, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and other relatives and friends, and a very special friend, Mary Wise of Pomaria, South Carolina.
