Mr. Stanley Eugene Richards departed his life on August 28, 2022, at his home. Stanley Richards was born on August 23, 1956, in Fairfield County to the late Mr. James Richards Sr. and his mother Mrs. Julia Mae Jackson.
He attended and matriculated from McCrorey Liston High School in the 1970s. He worked for the South Carolina State Department for 35 years before retiring.
He was married to Mrs. Levonne Richards for thirty-six years and to this union three lovely daughters were born.
He leaves behind to cherish his fond memories, his wife, Mrs. Levonne Richards; his mother, Julia Jackson of Jenkinsville, SC; his daughters, Tenika, Shannon and Sharonda, all of Blair, South Carolina; one brother,
Christopher Richards of Newberry, SC and three sisters, Ruby Richards (Nathaniel), Miriam Jones (James) and Judy Richards of Columbia, SC; a mother -in-law, Mrs. Alberta Sanders; a total of 14 grandchildren and one
great grandchild; five sister-in-laws; seven brother-in-laws; Willie Heyward and John Wadlington, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Richards Sr.; a brother James Richards Jr., Charlie Richards, Andrew Richards, Alan Arthur Richards, a sister Shirleen and one nephew, Tony Richards.
