Virginia Jenny Owens

Ms. Virginia Owens was born October 3, 1955, in Winnsboro, SC.  She was the youngest daughter of the late Luke and Annie Mae Owens.  She departed this life on Friday, June 25, 2021.

Ms. Owens was educated in the public school system of Fairfield County.  Soon after graduating, She went to work at Olympia Mill.  For many years and later transferred to home healthcare, and National Car Rental where she also worked for many years. 

Ms. Owens leaves to mourn her passing: two children, Antonio Owens of Columbia, SC and Olivia Thompson of West Columbia, SC; a stepson George Halitwanger of Irmo, SC; two sisters, Mae Frances Vesselles of Winnsboro, SC, Margaret (Abraham) Robinson of Columbia, SC; one brother, Morris (Karen) Owens of Winnsboro, SC; four grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a host of other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
