Willie Mack Davis Sr. Was born at John Hopkins Hospital on August 31, 1943, to the late George Nelson Davis and Willie Mae Davis. Willie was affectionately known by his family and friends as Macky-O, Willie Mack and Mack Daddy. He peacefully departed his life on September 18, 2023.
Willie Mack accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and was baptized in Baltimore at Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church by the late Pastor Lucille Calloway. Mr. Davis later became a member of New Home Independent Church in Blackstock SC.
Willie attended Sollars Point in Dundalk, Maryland. He was employed by General Motors, The Shipyard, Charles Dolittle and many more.
Mr. Davis was very strong-willed and had an infectious spirit that touched many. He made his presence known wherever he went. He cherished his family and friends far and near. He loved music (Motown, gospel) and dancing. A most of all, during his lengthy illness he would rarely complain. When asked, how are you doing he would always respond I'm good. He had a profound relationship and love for Christ. He would whisper prayers and call on the name of the Lord.
He leaves to mourn his wife Mrs. Glenda Davis. 1 son Willie Mack Davis Jr of Baltimore, 2 daughters Cynthia Davis of Baltimore, Enjolean Holley of Columbia, SC. 4 sisters Hattie Douglas of Baltimore, Mabel Richardson of New York. Proceeded in death by Georganna Davis and Bessie Mobley Johnson. 11 grandchildren 3 great grands.1 Aunt Jeanette Boyd of Baltimore Maryland. 1 favorite Nephew- Morris Davis of North Carolina. 1 favorite
cousin of South Carolina, Maggie Harrison. Proceeded in death by a dear friend, Ms. Annie Bell Holley of Winnsboro, SC. And a host of Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends.
